Select the Request Download option.
Step 5 – Confirm your decision
A message will appear asking “Get a Copy of What You’ve Shared on Instagram”. If you would like a copy, select the Next button.
Step 6 – Enter your password
Enter your Instagram password and select the Request Download button.
Final Step – Confirmation of download
A message will appear to notify you that your request to download all that you have shared on Instagram was successful. A download link will be sent your email within 48 hours.
How To Deactivate Your Instagram Account
Step 1 – Login & locate Edit profile
Once you have logged in, click the Edit Profile button on your profile page.
Step 2 – Select Temporarily disable account
Under Edit Profile settings, scroll down and select “Temporarily disable my account.”
Step 3 – Complete requirements
Fill in the required fields and select “Temporarily Disable Account”.
Step 4 – Confirm your decision to disable your account
A pop-up window will appear, asking if you would like to go ahead to disable your account. Once you are sure, select Yes.
Final Step – Notification of disability
If you try to login again, you will see a message asking you to try again after a few hours.
How To Permanently Delete Your Instagram Account
Step 1 – Visit the Instagram Delete Account page
Click and follow this link https://www.instagram.com/accounts/remove/request/permanent/Step 2 – Select to permanently delete your account
On the Delete Your Account Instagram page, fill in the required fields and click “Permanently delete my account”.
Step 3 – Confirm your decision
A pop-up window will appear, asking “Are you sure you want to delete your account?” Once you are sure, select Yes.
Step 4 – Confirmation of deleteion
A message will appear notifying you that your Instagram account has been removed.
