Deleting Your WhatsApp Account on iPhone

With WhatsApp being one of the most popular social platforms online, we have focused on how to delete your WhatsApp account on iPhone. You don’t need to be a tech expert to delete your account.
By the end of this tutorial, you will be able to delete your WhatsApp account on iPhone in just a few clicks.

If you cannot get rid of your WhatsApp account on iPhone and want to delete it, follow the screens below
Step 1 – Locate the Settings
On the WhatsApp home screen, click on the Gear icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Select the Settings option.
Step 2 – Select Account in Settings
In the “Settings”, select Account.
Step 3 – Delete your account
In the “Account” settings, select Delete My Account to proceed.
Step 4 – Read Terms & Conditions
Read the terms and fill in the required fields. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select the Delete My Account button.
Step 5 – State your reason
Fill in the required fields and stating why you are deleting your WhatsApp account. Once completed, proceed to select Next in the top-right of the screen. NB: this section is OPTIONAL.
Step 6 – Last notification
On this screen, you will see a notification asking you if you are sure that you want to “Proceed to delete your account?” Once you are sure, proceed to select the Delete My Account button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 7 – Finally, a confirmation of deletion
Once your WhatsApp account is deleted, you will be automatically redirected to the Welcome to WhatsApp home screen.
