Deleting Your Facebook Account

With Facebook being one of the most popular social networks, we have focused on how to delete your Facebook account.

By the end of this tutorial, you will be able to delete your Facebook account in just a few clicks.

If you cannot get rid of your Facebook account and want to delete it, follow the screens below.

Step 1 – Visit Facebook

To get started you need to visit the Facebook homepage.

Step 2 – Login and locate the delete page

Once logged in, click the upside-down arrow on the top-right corner of the screen, this is where you will find your settings. Click Settings in the drop-down menu. Next, we are going to head over to manage your account. You are only a few more steps away from deleting your Facebook account.

Step 3 – Manage your account

Under the General Account Settings, select to “Edit” in the Manage account tab.

Step 4 – Deactivate your account

Read the terms and scroll to the bottom, select the Deactivate your account.

Step 5 – Confirm deletion

Enter your Password and click Continue.

Step 6 – Select your reason for leaving

Select your “Reason for leaving”, fill in the form by selecting the fields you require and click Deactivate.

Step 7 – Finally, your account is deactivated

A pop-up window will appear asking if you are sure that you want to delete your account. Once you are sure, click Deactivate Now.

Final Step – Acknowledgement

A message will appear to acknowledge that “Your account has been deactivated”. And that’s it!
